Hedgehog Pond Ramp, Wildlife Conservation

Firstly, thank you to my lovely customer that asked me to make this for her friend that unfortunately found a drowned hedgehog in her pond.
Although they can swim if the bank it too steep they can’t climb out.

So I now have this as a new product that can hopefully be useful for our beautiful wildlife 🥳

Please note, because this is the first product I have made to go in water I do not know how long this will last when in the water. If it is put away in the dry when the hedgehogs hibernate (October-November through to March-April)
I would hope you should have a couple of years.
Feedback on this will be grateful received.

It is weaved with professionally grown willow from the famous Somerset Levels.

The variety of willow may be different from what is shown depending on availability.

***The measurements for how tall the ramp is 50 or 75cm of weave, it is then curved into shape so the total length will be a little shorter accommodating the curve.
