# Loving my job 💕😀

As a child, I was always fascinated by the willow growing on the famous Somerset Levels where I grew up.

I began my career in willow craft as a hurdle maker in my twenties, working for English Hurdles. I loved making hurdles, but found it hard going physically to do full time. So after a year I combined my hurdle making training and my love for art and crafts and set out to build Stone Willow Craft.

I now love making willow sculptures, baskets and decorative items for the garden and interior and I get so much pleasure creating gifts for lovers of the outdoors and gardeners from this natural material. Knowing that my products are eco friendly and sustainable is very important to me.
